It's not meaningless because relevant security issue arise from runtime errors. These can be completly fixed by using Ada/SPARK or Rust. Hardware vulns are for many systems not very important.

Yes, in my opinion that would be better.

If you defined it as absence of runtime errors, it exists.

I doubt that RT makes a nicer user experience on desktops. You are probably better of switching to another desktop-oriented scheduler.

What's the definition of truly secure?

Security-related product defect, or simply security defect.

Depends on the definition, right?

I have problems with non-colored output because it makes it harder to distinguish important from less important stuff.

Nice project. There should be some project which standardizes a mechanism to do that that with a browser extension. This would make it possible to share websites without trusting the web hoster.

Because it's better than nothing when independent organizations are reviewing systems or other organizations. It's like saying that penetration tests are useless because you cannot prove security with testing.

It's more granular than access modifiers. You may want to be an interface to be accessible from outside but not from every caller.

It's possible. You can prove absence of runtime errors with Ada/SPARK (which is using theorem provers).

Just used in few days ago an it was very practical to use it instead of downloading some third party software. Since video conferencing apps are web-based it makes sense.

It can be a binary property if you define security as a proof of absence of runtime errors which is possible to achieve today.

I just googled for some typewriter pictures and only really old typewriters didn't have a "1".

I switched from Qubes OS to Fedora+Flatpak+Opensnitch. Couldn't make it to run Wayland on my hybrid GPU system (Nvidia). QubesOS drained battery very quickly and since graphics is afaik software rendered, I've gotten into problems

Can recommend it on Fedora over fiddling with firewalld/firewall-config.
