Wow super cool, didn't realize that was a possibility. 1000 TeV when we're currently at ~13 TeV seems like one problem. 1000km ring requiring ~10 Tesla powered magnets likely be another. Those "technical difficulties" as

Apologies on the lay reply. Your app is significantly bigger than ours, so grain of salt. We play very close attention to what's loaded on startup. There are two key tricks. 1. Heavy libraries/packages load at runtime and are only

It's definitely fine with no problems. We used to do this too. But, it optimizes for something that only matters if you're in a space constrained setup. Turns out for "almost-all" web setups, a few extra hundreds of MBs

YES!! 100%, I emphatically CANNOT stand how terrible model validations are in Django (obvious vs Rails) and they are a direct result of "we do it better". full_clean vs Form.full_clean vs DRF. It's just an absolute shit show.

With the move to pyproject.toml in 2022[0], Poetry has become our goto method. With the lock file being default, we don't worry about different installs in different envs. Having come from the Rails world, Bundler system was solved for

While you missed the point of the saturation comment, this is why we love AWS Lambda over ECS+Fargate. Rails has really poor startup time due to loading all codepaths. We switched to Django and it runs beautifuly on AWS Lambda where our CI

I'm not trying to argue that. I'm pointing out what Dylan said he is accountable for is not what OP believes/claims Dylan is accountable for.

I'll need you to point out where I'm misconstruing OP because it still reads, to me, that I interpreted OP's desires. That he wants "accountability for why there are layoffs".
