Isn't this also one of the goals of bunnie's novena? http://www.bunniestudios.com/blog/?tag=novena Something built from the ground up, where you can build and (with inspection) trust every part of it.

"Job seekers, who must have a college degree in any discipline..." I think it's a mistake to ignore candidates with a proven track record but no college degree.

If you know a company is legally obligated to pay up to $x, and that they have $x, you can offer to pay $x/1.1 in collusion/partnership with the bug-seller, for a share of the proceeds. You can outlaw the collusion, but setting u

What, exactly, are you looking for? Clinical trials of torture? I'm willing to grant that torture will get you some mix of true and false utterances, and then I'd very much like to get into the immorality of torture.

I'll be interested to see what a gross abuse of power gets you, in terms of sentencing.

Does analyzing this actually require joining in large data sets -- that is, larger than will fit on a single machine? I'd always assumed that the records involved weren't very large, but I don't know much about the problem sp

I'm sort of curious how you set up "and then the moon explodes". Is this the sort of event that has a theoretical foundation in astronomy or physics?

Because of the hashtag? The duck boats are the "where", and I don't think mentioning them requires or proves an agenda.

Look to the nav bar at the top of the page. The source file is (purportedly) a PDF and there's a download button.

You might say it's indistinguishable in a theoretical sense, but how are you planning on accessing this random sequence of characters? Using software? Why are you in possession of random data on a hard drive? A prosecutor will be happ

Doesn't logging into an email account with stolen credentials, even a "QA team account" cross a line? I understand that spyware makers are not good people, but that doesn't obviate the laws against this sort of thing.

Since the EFF is "neutral" towards the "FREEDOM Act", why should they be giving him props? Then again, I'm still dumbfounded that the EFF is taking a neutral stance on this act. It really, really looks like a troja

Looking at the picture immediately makes me think of it as an oversized crown or tiara you're supposed to wear on your head. Sort of a "Glass 3.0". The "Camera Crown" is an entirely impractical idea of course (that

I am inclined to disbelieve you. I could agree that tech writing in general doesn't pay well, but this is an author who has sold over 150,000 physical copies, in addition to whatever virtual sales (like mine) he's had. Even if hi
