Absolutely love orchids, they're pretty abundant where I live and even within the region the variety is huge! They make fantastic house plants, very low maintenance assuming your climate is appropriate, but please source them ethically

I have a 1940s house with solid timber benchtops, yes they take a little more care (no hot pans) but from what I hear stone counters stain easily anyway. The nice thing about wood is you can just sand it back and refinish and it will look a

Perhaps by learning to use the YT API (seriously something that should take 2 hours max if you know how http works) you'll learn something from their design choices, or develop opinions on what makes a good API. And by learning a bit m

Chips are only going to get more powerful and smaller, you can already play a lot of games on a pi, I imagine you'll be able to play the current gen in something similar in a decade. I've actually been thinking about building a ha

Agree, I imagine just maxing VMG on the fly as conditions change is something a computer could already outperform humans easily. I've wanted to make a simple sailing game for a while now but found it very hard to actually get something

I think it was the lighting, everything is so shiny and reflective gave the modern game this weird dreamlike feel whereas the original (also my favourite game which I replay every few years) feels dark and gritty

Another great example of the genre (although very different setting) was Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Very detailed medieval world (that felt quite historically accurate) and lots of different ways to solve problems.

I've slowly come to enjoy Angular, although the templating definitely feels clunky coming from React. My biggest gripe is the lack of nice component libraries: Material just looks hideous, NgPrime has ads in the documentation and gener
