Does it work the other way, too? If I am made aware of someone who makes half of my salary for the 'same' work does it follow that I am happier? I don't find this very convincing. This would only seem to be the case where the

I can totally agree. There's no way to go on the same server a few times a week and form friendships. Now you have to in many games specifically add someone as a friend and wait for them to confirm it, if you ever want to see that pers
