Maybe for the benefit of everyone could you elaborate more on your vanilla application. So we can understand the context of why your problem-free experience differs from the author's or others'.

The worst is when people deny that is the truth. "Then model is like 80% the same, just use the same class!"

I admire projects like this. I wonder if there's a master list of "this language X transpiles to language Y and imitates language Z".

I'm skeptical that you read this somewhere. AI doesn't "come up" with strategies. It's likely something that's been discovered in training and then mechanically repeated. But it doesn't "come up"

Many years after my first exposure to this book and having learned more heavy-FP in Scala, I would not recommend this as a resource for learning either FP or Haskell. But let that not be a pock on the overall great mission to make FP more a

If we had the compute luxury, I would love to see more AIs trained with faults like a longer reaction time or deficiencies to make them more human. But yes, very exciting next stages when there are item builds, more heroes, and standard cou

I would love to know why the third match turned sour. I suspect (as an amateur with no ML background) that that matchup was under-trained. Like I could imagine OpenAI getting stuck in a subset of the draft pool for which it trained against,

Maybe this is a limitation of self-play. If the opponent an AI faces during training is always optimal, then there's no surface area of mistakes. The losing AI, in its model/mind, knows that the game is over after a specific thres

I think the argument to be made here is that gathering such metrics is difficult. So that's why no one does it. Should we/can we improve upon it is another question.
