I'm covered under the same Apple warranty if I buy from Best Buy or the Apple store. From anecdotal experience people buy from the Apple store because they don't know that it's the same. Are you assuming Apple has a hidden policy to treat c

It's especially bizarre given that the majority of college students are 18+. What obligation do you have to the parents of a 20 year old? Your obligations are solely to your students.

It wasn't too sweeping--I purposefully said nothing about what responsible parents do ;).

The most irresponsible parents don't practice family planning. That probably contributes heavily to their results.

Jobs had a hand in making event loops standard programming fare, and was there when Apple and NeXT pushed languages such as Objective-C and Dylan and various software frameworks, and decided to cease supporting others. - http://lambda-the-

Amazing. I'm so glad someone coded this. The price is a bit high for our institution(a struggling community hospital with 10 ICU beds) but hopefully I can get IT to consider it in our budget. The machine we use is a one-off and rarely works

The question I ask myself is why would you want a non-technical founder to learn to code if they will never write production code? The encoded message in most of the replies fall in to a few categories: 1) to understand the technical feasib

This is tangential but Attenborough's narration of Planet Earth was awful. He contradicted himself with his superlatives every other episode.

Similar to the "I am rich." app released on the app store so long ago. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Am_Rich was art. I'm not sure if I think your site is imitation or art as well.

How is the money a formality? I don't understand what Dandelion plans to add beyond the money. The pitch suggests that this is for people looking for 2.5-5k for design, marketing, etc. It makes no mention of mentorship or any other benefits

nodebeginner.org was awesome for getting acquainted with node.js. I purchased the book and was a bit disappointed that it didn't add a whole lot more than the tutorial but I was glad to support your efforts. Thanks for making this.
