You can find lots of research on it but first, between 85-90% of actively managed investment funds underperform their benchmark: https://www.ifa.com/articles/despite_brief_reprieve_2018_spi... That means it is very, ve

Generally speaking, once a fund reaches the level outperformance of ARK, they underperform the market. Only time will tell if she was just lucky or actually had any kind of edge. It's usually the former.

How are you different from Thrasio, Perch, and host of other competitors? Seems like this is just a race to execute deals faster than the other guys - what is your competitive advantage? Interestingly this is somewhat how Wayfair began back

Sadly it is not that easy if you do not want to use them - if that would true I would not be complaining.

Oh I get it. But as I said in another response below, what you're describing is the stage of a contact, not separate objects (in my opinion). You could just as easily have a single object but where the status was "lead" (no c

The way I think about it is that Lead is a stage of a Contact, not a separate object.

I've used Salesforce at every company I've worked at for the last 8 years. Here are my observations: - There is a special place in hell for the person who made the decision to have leads and contacts as separate objects. It create

I’m often amazed that anyone leaves an organic review given how many questions these companies want you to answer. My guess would be that 80% are incentivized but again it’s just a guess.

Oh I don't think they'll necessarily profit - I'm saying that they are incentivized to take a lot of risk. But I don't think that makes them either any smarter or that they'll have a guarantee of being able to get o

VCs are geared to take big swings and bets. Makes total sense that they would buy into anything that has the potential to be a billion dollar idea, even if the likelihood of success is 1-5%. What's interesting about NFTs to me is that

Life.so looks very interesting. It does one thing I wish all task managements did: integrate calendar so that you can schedule tasks on your calendar. This, to me, is key to actually getting things done. I would love to also have notes buil

I think I'm being thick on this one - there is the first section with the guide overlay, and then a link to the full demo (hosted at demo.navattic.com). Does Navattic create both of these, or just the first section that walks the user

I keep waiting for Apple to introduce their own search engine. They are already pushing on the privacy angle, so it would seem to make logical sense to dump Google and have their own search engine. I think switching the iPhone/Safari s

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Microsoft Edge here. No dog in the fight (I don't work for Microsoft), but I've found Edge uses significantly less RAM and CPU - my fan rarely goes on now except for Google Hangouts. Th

I'm not arguing that freeium doesn't help - I am arguing that freeium is not the only factor in the success of these companies and to say "freeium = unicorn killer" is an attribution mistake.

I think this article is an example of attribution error. To conclude that it is a free model that has caused Canva, Figma, or Notion to take the lead is missing on multiple fronts. To me, the more likely conclusion about these products is t
