While I agree comparing countries can be apples and oranges, it makes sense to compare the Scandinavian countries. That Norway and Finland were much lower strongly suggests Sweden's strategies worsened things.

I was a long term subscriber at the $10/mo tier. I kept it specifically because of the higher bitrate. Youtube music doesn't have that higher bitrate. They lost me to Tidal Hifi.

There's also the possibility of a treatment that dramatically lowers deaths. That would be a game changer. As will widespread serological testing that allows those with antibodies to move freely and return to non-essential work.

The flip side is even 1% of a populace dying is going to impede daily life even if we were all sociopaths. In reality, once hospitals get overloaded, the number is quite a bit higher than 1%. So to do nothing would also be choosing economic

I think it's putting the cart before the horse. Improve the public transit first. I also have very little confidence that congestion pricing revenue would be spent wisely.
