Don't forget that some disgruntled employee stole the software a few years ago. So who knows who has access to this. https://m.calcalist.co.il/Article.aspx?guid=3741738

NSO still have multiple ubpatched 0 days in WhatsApp Telegram and most other messaging apps. Your best bet is to use something obscure so you cannot easily be targeted or not being connected to the same net. At the Israeli army we had phone

Most of NSO's users are police forces working under rule of law. That's the thing being regulated (what police forces it is allowed to sell to).

I am surprised I can't edit this on HN (Or missed the UI? I've been using HN for years) and was very tired - but 'choices' :]

I think it's funny to say that about a company regulated and controlled by the US intelligence community. The US is truly great at claiming things are bad while _controlling those things_ at the same time. For what it's worth _per

I would not work for NSO myself but I am extremely privileged to have written some popular open source stuff and it's a great market for software. My wife is in finance, it was this or an abusive boss and constant unpaid overtime. For

Sadly NSO can't share their customers and they actually don't know many of them and are not exposed to the data. Whomever gets vetted by the US government and the hr Israeli government gets a copy. I really dislike NSO to the poin

She claims they are more regulated then other companies with the tech and like all weapons mistakes can happen. Also that they did not do a lot of the stuff they are blamed for. I personally don't believe them but she does :)

People working for NSO believe they are doing good for mankind and helping stop terrorism. I am not buying the shitty nerative but still love her :)

My wife works for NSO, Facebook closed down the personal accounts of anyone working for NSO which is quite the aggressive move. I definitely see things warming up.

A promise is a lock in that resolving it is the 'release' and awaiting it is `acquire`. For example: ``` let release; const acquire = new Promise(resolve => release = resolve); (async () => { await acquire; //

An element can reference itself and perform calculations which would be a looping construct though? That `url` reference includes itself.

We ended up using ngrok for our development builds and while it's certainly a lot more setup (and it costs us money) I am pretty happy with the results and as a customer for that use case. We sell a SaaS e2e testing product for large e

I absolutely agree. I switched from iPhone to Android (Galaxy S10e, smallest one I could find that was high end but still huge) last year. I would switch back in a heartbeat with a new SE. Moreover, I would love a high-end SE rather than a

This looka great and like it solves a big real problem people have. Congrats on doing this! How do you deal with security? IoT devices are infamous and having one with a debugger open to the world terrifies me.

Right, there is always an escape hatch, this is also true for haskell with unsafePerformIO - because of practicality. That's a good thing :]

The reason we have await in JS is particularly because it is _less_ powerful than generators and you can make more assumptions about it and how one uses it as well as write better tooling. This is why we have await in Python and C# as well,

That's 'lying' though, async/await is a great way to know which of your functions perform i/o and which do not. Namely in platforms like Node the convention is to not do synchronous I/O and as a communication t

SES builds on capability theory to let you run "adversarial" code together with your trusted code safely. Deno is a runtime that aims to isolate the code from the system amongst other issues. SES uses a proof over the JS grammar w
