It is great timing in a way. There is a backlash with consoles and now more than ever the energy around AAA studios feels pretty low. You don't need incredible horsepower to play really fun games that still look visually appealing.

The steam deck has been on the top sellers list on and off for some time now.

I think it’s important to highlight that the timing of this article comes right after Tucker Carlsons monologue and podcast “Flock Cameras and the Coming Slave State”. Would wager a bet this is a paid piece for Forbes for PR damage control.

Absolutely. I also think rule of exploitation is how we figure out balance and new rules. This applies to governments, companies and societal norms. We don’t know until we push the boundaries.

Sure but it’s one of those things imo that happens. Google should have been more rigorous with their judging. They may lose face for future hackathons or simply it becomes a gating item in the rules. When is at it’s awesome it’s not to indi

IMO that’s awesome. I like when folks are clever. Just modify the rules next go around. It’s a contest judged by and LLM. Not sure why we would take it that serious.

So do many other CEOs and it’s near impossible to sift through overly optimistic statements and not. Agree he truly pushes the envelope but also we all see the numbers and are not forced to invest in the company.

It’s a hard balance but in an ideal scenario there would be a good balance of tension between engineering and management/product decision makers. On one hand engineers generally will iterate for far too long and on the other product de

But that was a ponzi. The numbers here are public. You can make forward looking statements. I could never underwrite that valuation but others have. Who knows will be correct but over the long horizon the market will figure it out.

I mean sure some indexes will include the name eventually but I would hope most “passive investors” are not investing in the Nasdaq 100. Folks have latched on to this like it’s the greatest fraud of all time. It’s not showing up in most nor

The world is filled with shades of gray. Some folks like yourself take what I consider a very passionate view on these topics. I take a bit more nuanced view. I don’t like Elon, I would never invest in his companies at the current valuation

I realize you are passionate about this topic and maybe I am just not in that same bucket. I could take it or leave it. The valuation is absurd, the TAM is wild and I have no faith in the underlying business being able to grow that fast. Fo

You’re moving the goal post in your argument. First it’s being good at raising money is a scam. Now you are pointing out his incredibly foolish claims. No disagreement, it’s an absurd statement. I don’t know if it classifies as fraud.

Sorry if I did not make it clear enough. The original discussion was around SpaceX being a scam. That is what I was referring to. I have no disagreement on other points. As I continue to say both can be true.
