I have always gravitated towards a market model. Force police, like doctors, to have malpractice insurance. Let for-profit insurance companies model what that risk looks like. Now cities have to make a financial decision when hiring cops th

Yes I understood but let me make my position clearer. Call it unique but it’s because they are marketing it on a consumption model where they can obfuscate the cost of compute. The upcharge for SSO is still very healthy margins hence my poi

Not sure why this is an unpopular opinion. It is one of the most ridiculous statements to say you are from a homogenous country and have no racial issues. I guarantee they exist but you live in a homogenous country.

I am saying this quite common and part of it is simply an enterprise tax. Yes vercel breaks it up into a separate charge but that’s their playbook and maybe they can better represent their costs and margin internally. I was only pointing ou

It’s like communism or anarchocapitlism, it works on paper but hard in practice. Preventing voting is a nice idea but really hard to get right because humans are messy animals. The world is messy and one of the reasons I am such a believer

You could replace skin color with any attribute and it will probably happen. You can see it play out across the world time and time again, in any type of downturn or bad luck people on average find it easier to blame another group than them

You didn’t bring down GitHub. You brought down the thread. There’s a difference between criticizing a company and just swapping names for insults. The former can be useful, the latter just turns the discussion into noise. If you’ve got a po
