Thanks for the thoughtful reply. To add some color… most expense systems are setup so that the user has to input a couple fields like the category or GL code. Some of the fields might be auto populated. Some companies might not care about t

To be honest I am having a hard time remembering the last time a LLM hallucinated in our pipelines. Make mistakes, sure but not make things up. For a daily recon process this is a solved problem imo.

Let’s state the obvious. You have an account that was just created. Are posting specific details internal to a company with what is typically a biased area. And now throwing vulgarities out. No credibility.

What is your point? This is pretty normal expense management in any company setting. I don’t know what is so bad about being on the other side of that. Hope I am not too inflammatory by asking what is the point but genuinely you pointed it

Yes. On the accounting side agents can handle a lot of the low value work like recons and other ledger activity pretty well. On the investment side I think like you pointed out it’s going to be a lot of research, industry, company, macro et

Reads different to me. Some examples to go run with and build your own. Covers cases from the investment side and then the obvious ones in an accounting perspective. It would be highly surprising that any of these would be use in production

Thanks for sharing. I have been looking to replace Sentry. It has always been my go to just with its early roots in Python but feels like it misses the mark these days, feels heavy and I don’t really use it correctly. Have also tried system

As an American, I’d point out that there are structural reasons the U.S. often outpaces Europe in certain areas of innovation and business, tech and otherwise. Labor regulations in many European countries make it harder to reallocate talent

That cuts both ways. Pointing out uncertainty doesn’t by itself invalidate the direction of the argument. My point was about incentives and scope: the exemption looks broad enough that most major OEMs can comply without going to removable b

Thats what I was guessing but was thrown off because it is a pretty natural nth order effect. Gas prices go up, more efficient cars get sold.

Doubtful if only because that would fall under warranty then. There is a financial incentive for that to not happen. I imagine this is a situation where the complaints seem a lot more frequent because it’s a complaint. The mass of phones th

Which will align with how manufacturers have been measuring it. The EU years ago already set battery standards for energy ratings. This won’t come as a surprise.

Nobody has quantified what lots means. Which is my issue. The article just says many. Lots and many do not make great legislation.

Which is really my issue with this type of legislation. If they had it clearly estimated it would be incredible because you can measure the impact but as it stands it could go either way.

What makes it not accurate? With the 15, apple was already making claims about 80% at 1000 cycles. Battery degradation has too many variables for you to make your claim and even in perfect situation, it’s not a linear degradation by cycle.

If that’s the case good catch. I had the whole conversation unhidden and it was riddled with odd quotes. My bad for the misrepresentation. My conclusion still holds, fork author is a fool and is playing the slow game for no reason.

This is a waste of money. All flagship phones have hit the requirements so do not need to make them removable. It might impact some of the budget garbage but not yet clear. All this will do is increase compliance costs.

In case anyone else was confused. The author of this fork replied to some trademark discussion with a “fuck trademarks” response. He edited/deleted it but you can still see it in some of the quoted replies. Fork author is either a youn

Yea but going back to the comparison to EV discussions. That’s not how this plays out. People have no thought and just latch on to ideas people feed them. There is no depth beyond the one statement.

The myths are insane, you will see them on here all the time. Evs are so heavy, wear through tires, good luck when you need to replace the battery. The resources to build it are bad for the environment. It’s exhausting. It’s like those folk

Which patents were the biggest hold backs in the recycling industry? I am curious how the patent landscape looks today compared to a decade ago. Seems like it would be exploding in more recent history.

Then what is your proposal? I actually think a system like this does a lot better than you might imagine. There are quite a few lawsuits for abuse of power beyond murder cases. It’s far from perfect but helps set the directional cost.

Instead of being hyperbolic why don’t you share your idea then? Markets are not perfect but on average they do a decent job of finding equilibrium. “Democracy is the worst form of government—except for all the others that have been tried.”
