That's great news! I'd be glad to buy this one even to play with RISC-V asm, but still might do some home automation with it.

That's for "retina" displays. I don't think there are any 8x displays right now, but probably they want to be future-proof for a while

I do the same. Babel makes life a lot simpler, indeed, but there are still some edge-cases. Especially around tree-shaking, optimization. And dynamic imports are still complicated sometimes

Sorry about nitpicking, but I feel that we shouldn't say that CJS has named exports. It does not. CJS has a single export which might be an object. And objects have named properties/fields. On the other hand, ESM CAN have unnamed

Not Arduino, but there is an open-source fingerprints reader for RPI: https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/raspireader-fingerprint-sca... Is it that much worse in smaller form-factor? NDA only?

Agile is about gradual increases of business value. So, as long as maintenance lowers further costs it is a proper aim. Unless there's something else which can bring more value earlier. For some businesses maintenance time never happen

As long as all supposed consumers of JWT are on my infrastructure I prefer to make all tokens revokable. Tokens TTL is smaller than 1 hour so I keep 1 hour worth of revocations on all servers (pushed via queue). If key is on list it is refu
