A good zach-like everyone should check out it "the signal state" on steam. This game is great, but is geared more towards digital logic instead of coding.

> Why not ban nicotine, by the same logic as heroin? because nicotine doesn't increase crime rates on society.

This interesting. A while back I wrote a C++ library to load a bitsteam virtex ultrascale through jtag using FTDIs d2xx driver. Intel is more closed in the JTAG opcodes for programming the device. I was able to read IDCODES out of the JTAG.

opposite for me. I can't stand the xbox analog stick placements. I think it's good to have different options so people can choose what works for them.

The NYPOST was banned for 16 days over this story. It was suppressed for 16 days, not one day.

You definitely don't want to flip a burger multiple times. There is a drastic difference in quality. They advocate it cooks the middle more, but the real trick is to move the burger to the side of grill that is off and close the lid to

Yes, - Marketing - Industry Connections - Cashflow The majority of the modern Musician's job is marketing through social media. A label helps to alleviate that burden.

Yes and no. A good programmer could learn it, but it exposes concepts that python and java abstracts from the programmer. C++ requires you to think quite a bit about memory. Modern C++ not so much. However the kind of job that requires C++

I have to agree. I don't think having a degree dictates whether a person can do a job or not, but they have sure convinced corporations that it's a requirement. After I got a degree I started getting responses from places.

It looks like it's referring to when you start a new job, but that doesn't really seem helpful.

Therr was a massive astro turf campaign on reddit regarding NN. Of course there is some motive behind it when money is being spent to lobby it. I even read something about how "people will literally die without NN". That kind of r

Who decides what is ok and what isn't? In a free society people are allowed to express views, even if it offends someone. I really don't expect the woke communists to accept a free society though.

Sorry, I haven't use the WinRT fir rust. I would suggest making a a simple window with a button in C and then try porting all the functions to the rust library.

Hey, I the win32 api looks harder than it is. Most of it is reading documentation. I suggest the book "Programming Windows" by Charles Petzold. If you know basic C, the win32 api is pretty well documented.

I'm not quite sure why they opted for such a round about way of including bindings instead of using cargos "features" section. I'm guessing it has to do with using local files to create the bindings.

The opening bracket in a new line is very common for C/C++ and C#. Obviously Standards change, but that's what we learned when I went to school. The only thing that should matter with style is consistency.

The CRT monitors do have a faster response time and higher refresh rate (I've seen up to 640x480@480hz <1ms). But you would be sacrificing fidelity for this "competitive advantage".

currently the PCIe card would need some kind of driver to be written on the OS to communicate with it. There's SoC devices that have a soft processor on it that runs a linux kernel and can communicate with the FPGA.

I like to collect vinyl for a few reasons. I like having a physical copy, it supports the bands I love, and it comes with the digital copy. There's a lot to be said about the imperfections in vinyl playback combined with the analog out
