I still think there's a need for standardized APIs in this situation. At some point, the context constraints mentioned in the blog post have to get translated into some action with parameters. I'm guessing that action will be API

Even as CEO, accepting outside capital makes you an employee of the investors. If your new idea requires even more capital than your current, couldn't you end up in a similar situation, with even more strings attached?

I worked with a developer who was 75 because he didn't know what else to do with his time. Sharp as a whip. He's still coding for a living and will turn 80 soon.
