The closest are Python, Ruby, Perl. IMHO Lua is best as plugin/scripting language operating on some object API. E.g. Nginx (OpenResty) and Roblox use it that way.

Actually LLMs help me to start coding at all, where without it I would procrastinate to not even start. I don't enjoy project bootstraping, and they help greatly with setup. Once a project gets a nice and quick development feedback loo

They should transfer that heat to steam engines to deliver more power back to DC... /s

My European gut feeling for a few years now is that Taiwan will be given...cought....sold to China, once all critical stuff is made on USA soil.

It is even simpler with `/etc/hosts`: 127.0.0.1 localhost local.foobar.com And just use wildcard `*.foobar.com` or SAN cert with anything local like Caddy, Nginx, Haproxy or whatever.

For me, SWE consultant, LinkedIn profile is a bait for recruiters. With proper SEO I can get steady inflow of roles. What other world-wide platform would work in such passive way?

Can't stand that video mastering, looks like AI fake.

Both autocomplete and chat are half-way UX solutions. Really what I need is some kind of mix of in-place chat with completion. For context, very often I have to put some comment before the line for completion to set an expectation context.

You don't apply thru flood gates because it doesn't make sense. You reach out to your network to get a referral.

Looks like Mysqlization tragedy, the best would be when FOSS maintainers join their corporate agile sprints to meet roadmap demands, with naming rights gun aimed under table lol. First time I hear about Valkey, it acts as MariaDB in this dr

I had same worries like yours but worry not, check MicroPython/CircuitPython when you get a chance. You load it up onto Pico and play with REPL in IDE. It is easier than debugging Go on large-RPi.

Cool stuff! Actually that tempts me to start a new rabbit hole research: could we do BT -> Internet -> BT. I would have so many uses to that.
