What a horrible chart http://cdn.theatlantic.com/newsroom/img/posts/2014/06/Migrat... Three shades of blue, thick white borders around bars, I can barely see the colors.

If you had read the PDF, 5ms is the "minimum touch time", which is not latency, but a minimum touch time it can register. The same software has no problem rendering complex games and doing all kinds of game logic, all in 16.7ms. W

That "explanation" doesn't make any sense. BitLocker is not open source and is pretty much guaranteed to have a backdoor considering Snowden's leaks about Microsoft and NSA.

> The car salesman pushes you to buy the best quality car Nope. The car salesman pushes you to buy the car with the highest profit margin that fits (or is slightly above) your budget.

You can't stop pool mining, even with a hard fork. Let's say you implement a restriction like "5 blocks in a row max for a given pool". GHash can split into GhashA and GhashB, and keep going.

That, and the fact that asphalt doesn't cost $70 per sq foot. More like $2-3 per sq foot, and probably cheaper if you're doing it at large scale.
