You have to understand that people come from very different angles with python. Some people write web servers where in python, where speed equals money saved. Other people write little UI apps that where speed is a complete non-issue. Yet o

Disease is fuzzy word, it basically means below some made up bar for healthiness. Take dyslexia as a simple example. That disease can by definition not exist in an illiterate population. We have raised the bar and now they are diseased in n

Last I heard those gene editing things lead to so called of-target edits, so they were basically corrupting random dna. Now in this case the baby would have died without this treatment so clearly benefits outweight the risks. But even then

All I've read indicates Robinhood was incredibly good for retail traders. Payment for order flow does not not harm the user, you get the same amount of shares at the same price, just from a different seller.

Ironically a project that hasn't been changed in a while "unmaintained" is a good candidate for bumping to v1, while a project with new breaking commits every day is a bad candidate.

I was raised atheist and the education I received on religion was also firmly from an atheist (I guess anthropological?) viewpoint. What we were taught was that religion in theory (e.g. what is written in the holy books) and religion as it&

Back in those days I would either create a little scene with a knowledgeable person and someone with a question. Or I would start writing a monologue and generate a continuation for it.

I don't think you can realistically enforce a security boundary between root, and a user account that occasionally elevates. You can enforce a boundary between root and an account that never elevates though. And as far as I understand

The throughput of a road is car density * speed. So from a pure throughput perspective, the ideal driver is a tailgating speed demon. To maximize time spent at high speed you should also floor it when the light turns green, and slam the bra
