Well, thankfully people in real life have eyes and brain and can seee that someone is just a heavy pile of muscle vs donut cosplayer, i.e can spot the 0.1% of muscle mass builders from the 99.9% of fatsos. "A metric have 0.1% outliers

Well, exactly right. The competition only works if competitors are willing to give consumer a better deal, and if moving between competitors is easy enough. But if they decide "well, media say there is inflation so we have excuses to r

Companies made ad-hoc profits on pretending it's the inflation and raising the prices while having rising profits. I have zero problems with ad-hoc tax on that. Frankly I think taxing some part of revenue instead of just income on big

It's trading wasting time by few developers manually writing client, for wasting time of tens of thousands of developers that use said client that doesn't fit language well. It is IMO very bad tradeoff.

I'd be fine with just more pins, like some 64 or 100 pin package. And just few common hardware blocks, PIOs are nice and all but I'd love some nice and featureful hardware timers

Use microcontrollers in more advanced way than "load a SDK and bitbang some pins" and you will know. Having certain peripherals can make some projects go from hard to easy. Power usage can also be huge factor, althought of course
