It's in axes, obviously. You draw those X and Y according to them.

There is J2ME for WinMo. I guess it runs pretty J2MEy.

GHC is a static compiler; it doesn't belong here unless I've missed something.

No you can't. You can access C code from just about every language; but you need to put hundreds of man-hours into bindings before you can access actual C++ classes; and you just can't use templates and stuff.

Extract service into a stand-alone program; communicate with it from the proper web-wrapper in a web-language.

Well, I think we all agree that google agregating your news should be opt-out, and the threats to stop search-engine-indexing site which doesn't allow its news to be on unrelated news-aggregator service is ridiculous. So that ridiculousness

No, I'm using GCC. How's it outdated? Linux kernel is written in it. As for limited subset, people would push and push the boundaries until your code grows fangs and horns

Please never, never, never ever write C/C++. С - simple and stable, C++ - huge and changing. C - portable and easily parseable, C++ - unpredictable and unparseable. C - good, C++ - bad.

Declining ROI is a good thing: It stimulates use of more advanced technologies as well as research. It stimulates interest to alternative energy sources.

Why do they always focus on bash (or mysql, or php, or whatever). 90% of the article is applicable for other shells, like zsh or fish. Why not write "how to debug shell scripts"?

I guess it's Factor UI. It's nicely integrated (the words you've just added show up in help) and it does really suggest interactive development (for example, by auto-importing vocabularies for you). I miss the built-in editor, tho...

If someone acted as a dick, we don't care whether he's an artist or not. Even if he's our friend, we still recognise when he acts as a dick and point that out.

In Russia you can't copyright schedules, I believe. They don't really apply: they don't have any non-trivial amount of creative in them.

Not sure. I was able to get happily hacking in one saturday. Just copied extra/tetris and went turning it into tetcolor. At the end of day, I was able to do non-trivial things and my code worked as I expected. Interactive development ftw: y

In software, you can write code, why bother writing theses? Write some useful code, open-source it, promote it with talks on conferences. Noone wants your "research".
