In Russia, this problem was solved maybe in 1960s: A thick network of kindergardens will take care of children during workdays, while both parents work full-time. You can also hang your children on their babushka, if she lives somewhere nea

Yeah, another interesting point about Mazyr: it's situated on Pripyat river, not far from Chernobyl.

No doubt. Belarussians are very serious about informatics olympiad these days. Their "Informatics faciltative of the Young Firefighter Club of Mazyr" team is known to beat moscow and saint-petersburg teams in north-east european informatics

This is downright dumb considering the recent surge in Ruby and Javascript. And please, please, no C++ unless you understand what you're doing. However, I think nobody cares about this particular university anyway?

The real wtf is that electrical engineers do not have their VCS. They also use opaque binary formats for their, what we'd call, sources. Gross!

awk treats input as lines and columns, therefore it would be more accurate than cut that treats input as lines and characters. You don't want charaters this to that, what you do want is column 2.

He should really use awk instead of cut. or killall and for awesomeness, he should use zsh. bash is what you use for mediocrity.
