No, I’m sticking to the subject and not allowing you to drag me into side arguments. Go ahead and reply, you can have the final word. I also have Decades Of Lived Experience as well, so I’m not sure how this qualifies you to be condescendin

The problem is when that vernacular extends into regular life. I haven’t noticed it yet with unalive, but I’m sure there will come a day. Eventually if the censors continue suppressing the word suicide, we will end up with unalive taking su

Condescending dismissal of others based on a quick comment sleuthing is not a good behavior on HN. Take care.

You couldn’t be more wrong about who I am. My relatives and friends are some who have made those poor choices, and neither them nor I live in a major city. The poor in America are in two major camps: inner city and rural America. Both have

I’m a conservative, not a nazi. You don’t need to be attacking people on this site. This isn’t Reddit.

Chill, not everything has to be political on HN. Edit: OP edited out the political message from their post

Reminds me of some family members, all about organic, no seed oils, no plastics, no using 5G, no EMF, no fillers, no preservatives, no stabilizers, no emulsifiers, etc. And yet they use unhealthy amounts of avocado oil, consume unhealthy am

Do you know any of those people? Yes it’s almost entirely a choice. Typically a combination of poor life choices in tandem with poor financial choices.

The definitions of poverty are used to measure relative wealth, not whether someone lives paycheck to paycheck. As income increases, paycheck to paycheck reports decrease, but at a certain point it then increases again. Living paycheck to p

I just tried on Gemma 4. Asking for criticism of Islam results in equal response tokens for defense of Islam alongside the criticisms. When pressed to not provide counterpoints, it refuses to remove them. Asking for criticisms of Christiani

I’m leaving social media, how far does one go? X and Facebook? YouTube? Hacker news comment sections? Signal group chats with strangers? The author doesn’t discuss any of the particulars.
