What about scientists? - they are not the richest category of population (< 75k a person; usually 40-50k), but I am sure they use Internet a lot more often than let's say businessmen.

USA population is concerned about privacy much less than let's say European population. No wonder they do not see this a serious issue. I personally firmly believe - no privacy => no freedom.

It depends what you use Wikipedia for. As a source for political info it might be good or bad but you cannot rely on single source for this kind of information anyway. Math/physics articles are pretty decent, however.

Agree. Right solution would be something akin to BootMagic, which stores the code in a separate small partition. Or, as a half-measure the can use code compression (LZ77 or similar).
