I'm going just to quote Peep Show as a response to that: Jeremy: "If you build it, they will come". That's my market research. Mark: Field of Dreams? A man who builds a baseball field in his backyard for ghosts? That's your role mod

Just an unscientific example. There have been numerous peer-reviewed studies done on the safety of LSD.

I think everyone should try psychedelics at least once in their life. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it can be a life-changing, very positive experience that will persist long after the effects of the drugs have worn off. It will give

Your comment is so very incorrect. It's not that _ads_ as a whole don't work, it's that untargeted, random banner ads are very ineffective at driving conversions. Ads on search, which frequently tell you what to buy, and don't have room to

It's much better to develop a site yourself and then sell it on Sitepoint than to buy one. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is-maybe traffic has been declining, its been dropping in the serps, revenue is down, etc. Spend that $4

The tracking on the advertiser's server also takes a few milliseconds before you're redirected to the landing page.

That would mean 20-50% of Facebook users have ninja-like reflexes that let them close a browser within milliseconds of clicking an ad, before a redirect is recorded. Unlikely.

I'm an affiliate marketer, should hit six figures in net income by the end of this year. Beats doing a zero-revenue startup :)

It's not negative, it's accurate. Most blogs (and startups) fail to generate a lot of traffic and get abandoned, that's just a fact.
