There's plenty to criticize of Mozilla, but yes, they're a lot better, or a lot less bad if you want. Are you really suggesting there isn't a huge difference between an ad and sharing your browsing history with advertisers? I

Whenever I read this kind of comment, specially about Apple, I always wonder: What are you suggesting we do? If the answer is "just don't have a tablet and buy a FairPhone or a feature phone, have less tech", I think that

I see disposable as having several meanings here. If it means crappy quality and unreparable, something that will last for a couple of years tops, I agree that is terrible. It could also mean decent quality that will last, but is cheap enou

Empathy and imagination can be found in plenty of non-fiction. I enjoy reading fiction, mostly for escapism although the good ones also enrich me, but there is plenty of non-fiction that can feed those qualities. Non-fiction that focuses on

I've been noticing this kind of sentiment online a lot. Seems like a recipe for an accomplished, unhappy life. Ambition, this time for "doing", whatever that means, without considering your and other's happiness. How doe

In the desktop world, all major OSes are similar in this regard. I can install whatever I want on my Mac laptop, and of course on my Linux computers. Really iOS is the outlier in the major computing platforms in how much of a walled garden

I'm a web developer but I've also worked in C (no plus) and other stuff. I fully acknowledge it exists; I actually would love to use it. But then I'd be reaching way less people than with the web. My web apps can be tried wit
