I would also change it, but your suggestion doesn't indicate if this is a comprehensive manual or a short introduction, apt for only-midly-technical folks. I don't know if it would be worth the effort to enforce a more complete se

I'd say it is better. The first one is very uncomfortable to read in a full-screen/maximized-window browser on a widescreen, and mine is only 1080p. I think it's a great counterexample of the point it's trying to make. O

I'd bet it was neither. It's something that clojure is doing right.

What about turning the service to an events feed yous suscribe to? If it's just a log of "Politician X tweeted Y ... Politician X deleted tweet Y", would that be against the TOS too? You aren't storing tweets, just email

Thanks a lot for this enlightening comment and for your fantastic work on Package Control. Without your work Sublime would be half as great, I feel. I encourage everyone who paid for Sublime, a fantastic piece of software that certainly des

But why would I change it if I wanted Google, which incidentally is, I'm sure, what most people want? Leaving the default can be as much a choice as changing it. (I'm on Mozilla's side in this discussion, but that particular

For Linux I had much more success using Redshift that flux. I can't quite remember what flux was missing that Redshift had. Does flux have an indicator on the notification/indicators area?

The only flux-like app on Android I know of is Twilight[0]. I've been using it for longer that I can remember and I have no complains. [0] https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.urbandroid...

You can disable it in about 10 seconds. Fro memory: press the Meta/Windows key; write "privacy" on the dash; a window with privacy options appears; hit the Search tab, disable the checkbox. It annoys me that it's there b

The iso will be available through torrent in no time. This way all those who won't/can't pay at least see how they could do that in the future.

I don't disagree with what you said, but I'd like to comment on a few points. >We want users to understand that they’re pretty much cheating the system when they choose not to pay for software. (Auch, reading that hurt; still..

More reliable approach for powerful machines, but for simple use cases Wine is fine: - Only for a few apps, like Evernote. - Laptops on battery. For Visual Studio I'd bet on VMs over Wine, but then I probably wouldn't be using Lin

I think that's very subjective: - International text input: I can't remember the last time I had to use accents or special characters not in my native language; a few greek letters for formulae, and generally I can use '/

I've always used Lorem Ipsum; never had a problem with designers or clients, but with other developers actually. I understand that Lorem Ipsum has a letter distribution close to real text in English, and thus it is useful to judge how

It blew every other phone, but it wasn't that original over PDAs. I had a Windows 6.5 pda then, and I thought the iPhone was way cooler and well-designed. Of course it was inmensely superior to my PDA, but not so incredibly original. I

It would be very inconvenient having to recharge every 2 hours, even if it is just for 30 seconds. Your smartphone would be of no use in a trip to the beach, or climbing a mountain; and it would be very easy to forget about it quite often.

It doesn't say it was left there intentionally. We don't have (or this article does not give) information enough to call it a backdoor.

Why "intentionally". May be it was put there intentionally but leaving it that way was a mistake. I don't think that's a backdoor, just from the article.
