I think the easy setup is exactly the reason Helix has taken off compared to Kakoune. It probably has the most simple onboarding experience I've had with any text editor. Things just make sense, and tools that should be built in are. I

Use it for non coding busy work. At my job we rely fully on AI commit messages, and pr descriptions. We can also automatically generate GitHub issues based off the context of a helpdesk ticket. Less clerical busy work is a nice win

At least you get the chance to demonstrate some of your creativity and forethinking with a code challenge. LC style timed questions are just turn off your brain and regurgitate.

It's so odd seeing people dissuade others for implementing "niche" languages like Elixir or Gleam. If you post a job opportunity with these languages, I guarantee you will be swamped with qualified candidates that are very pa

Objects are also used in functional programming. This feels like a reaction to people being functional evangelists. There's a reason most modern languages are completely blurring the lines and allowing you to think with multiple paradi

C# is becoming one as well. I recommend Zoran Horvat on youtube And most of the well written react projects I've worked on tend to be overwhelmingly functional in style. Hooks just make sense when thinking about the lifecycle of a UI.

Functional programming does not prevent you from using objects Stop listening to functional programming bros. Watch someone like Zoran Horvat. While I can't cosign all of his opinions, he tries to bridge the functional/OOP gap for

You've been successfully convinced that this is not only a primary concern for democrats and their voters, but also that this would affect you or anyone you know in any conceivable way.

When did you see Harris push that in her campaign? Her campaign was extremely basic and as uncontroversial as possible (to the detriment of the dems in my opinion)

People can't make up their minds, did dems push insane ideology or did they fail to stray far enough from the status quo? I'd argue they ran one of the least controversial campaigns in comparison to the current global political cl

I'd believe this if every multiplayer game that doesn't have KLA was just rife with cheaters. Also, why is EA adding KLA to Battlefield 1 almost a decade after release? I refuse to believe there is only one simple honorable object

Well you're gonna want CMS anyways right? Why not go full WordPress and give your non-technical users even more agency. It's pretty hard for them to cause harm in this scenario.

Yea, but the fact you can recognize bad code makes it even better. You could probably eliminate so many tedious tasks that are involved with building POCs. Just generate and iterate with your expertise. You already have the full picture in
