Seems like you still lose the Python plugin and remote extensions? Missing the wsl one is pretty rough. If you’re comfortable with vim (or want to be) I can’t recommend neovim enough. https://github.com/VSCodium/vscodiu

Wsl2 has been significantly faster for me as long as I store the files in the wsl drive. I had react projects that would completely fail to get through npm install on windows but finished no problem on wsl. Microsoft docu seems to recommend

Hmm I definitely see my family phones get new MAC addresses from time to time. Maybe the cadence at which they refresh is just irregular?

I wouldn’t call that low code but yeah the definition is ambiguous. I’m mostly experienced with and referencing flowchart type tools.

Have you done a lot of low code work? I’ve found it just ends up with escape hatches everywhere because the low code platform can’t handle some edge cases or gets too complex for the non engineers to reason with. Other issues are observably

IME is much higher level than that. These are when you program by essentially just making a diagram (ideally).

I think the problem is putting those broken commits into the trunk. Ideally you want to clean up your commits so if you need to revert you don’t accidentally break your build and so reading thru history isn’t awful.

I don’t think equating kids watching porn with gun violence makes sense. One has a much greater and more permanent effect so the reaction should be stronger. The other isn’t, in my opinion, a big deal and the way the government is trying to

This is way too true. So many quick changes or fixes at my company have caused incidents, confusion, and more. That 30 minute fix quickly balloons into days of work and unhappy clients. Even things that don’t blow up on those have so many h

For me uptime robot has been very buggy and unreliable so I’m looking for alternatives. Parts of the dashboard break often. Maintenance windows not respected. Alerts just not working at all when a real outage happens.

Even if you’re a heavy user of AI for coding you have to read what the AI wrote. Code isn’t like other writing where you can skim past letters and your brain will fill it in for you. In code, each character is significant with even the case
