Wow, yeah, I thought the same thing. That's incredibly unhelpful in dealing with racial issues. I hope that doesn't apply to her view of sexism.

The author slams Adria for taking the "cowardly" way out, all while remaining completely anonymous. It takes courage to accuse someone in public. It's a shame the accuser lacks courage. The author's claim, "You've taken feminism in tech a s

I don't see why he's basing his calculations on electric cars that only live for 90,000 miles. Electric cars might not make it to 200k - the new models are new enough that we don't know how long they'll be driven - but 90k seems crazy low.

I don't know. We actually seem to have a pretty strong affinity for other forms of life. I can't imagine any other animal on earth preserving dumber animals they could potentially eat. We like other animals - especially those with faces and

This is actually the first time I'm hearing about it. I would have thought all the non-trolls would have my same reaction: I said, "huh, that's neat," and moved on. Looking back on some of the coverage and comments, I'm stunned. Are traditi

This post is full of sloppy writing and sloppy thinking. The author doesn't even define SEO, or "scumbag SEOs." Are all SEOs scumbags? What should they be doing instead? We can do a lot better than lazy, vague, completely meaningless rambli

I dunno, you don't see the outcry when the thing is reliably up and working correctly. I play several games that are "always on" or "internet only," and we gamers seem completely fine with it as long as up-time is 99.99%. People bought the

It's not that Glass is so much "better" at discrete filming - it's that it would be more common. Most people don't buy or carry around pen cameras. Glass, on the other hand, would have so many other uses that many people would already have

I enjoyed the thought and analysis that went into this post. It might not be a satisfying answer, but the conclusion seems to be that Tolkien didn't think about eagles as a likely course of action. And if he did, he didn't bother to address

Do you have any proof of the latter? Not sure what one might gain by raging about Microsoft... Or is this just some ad hominem attack for which you have no evidence? Sounds a lot like, "he's a developer. He doesn't understand people."

Here's what seems clear from the whole thing: 1. Musk jumped to conclusions. For example, he claimed the car was driven in circles with the intent of running it out of battery. I think the innocent, "I was looking for the charger" explanati

If that's the point, then I'll agree that the issues is indeed complex. This all highlights the need for more research in an age of better tools for videoconferencing and cloud project/file management. As a management major (do regret) I wa

I love how these articles totally ignore dates. A June 5s launch would mean the 5 has about 80% of the time to sell as the top iPhone compared to the 4s. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't sell as many of the 5. There may be something to
