That is 10 years overdue and the main reason I closed my account years ago. It was like looking at a sponsored gawker newsfeed. Today people do not even mention it anymore. Wether i meet new people or when i connect with old friends. Facebo

However: It won't be an career upgrade :/ I know very talented people and i guess that unless land a well paying job in the gaming or movie industry (good luck with that) you end up freelancing for construction companies and archi

Async-functions are the answer to all his problems. I generally agree on his conclusion though: Do small things, don't build big systems. I hate that JS trys to be this OO-FP hybrid. Jack of all trades, master of none.

It's a loose assumption based on a chain of unlikely events, not a distinct outcome like the title suggests. It's a ubuntu based subsystem. Apt-get probably uses their official repo and you would have to get your malware into that

It's a beta release only available for insider subscribers. They also mention this issue in a channel9 video and are very well aware of the issue.

We had a talented CS-student intern once. They seated her in the marketing office away from the developers. FML for developers?

Obsolete before it hit 1.0. While grunt/gulp was fun for a while... i am not looking back to our 800 line grunt file, complicated async configuration and the tons of dev-dependencies. Webpack blew everything out of the water. 80 lines

No one ever mentions formatting. I really like aligning multiline blocks, adding whitespace and useless braces here an there. e.g: Having just a single space between function name and arguments makes it look less like a call. Yet almost all

That's always the case for new language features. ES5 stuff was slow in the beginning and it took a while for v8 to catch up. This shouldn't be a reason for not using these new features. This article is also years old. While it se

Showing a less accurate error is worse than showing no error? How is that "less" frustrating if you have to find a bug? It does not DEMAND the argument type? Adding it to flow also improves the error message? How is that the right

I recently learned that the TS type-checker is unsound on purpose and i am a bit disappointed. http://tryflow.org/#2944d91c10fc5d76faeebbb20cac466a Try this snippet in TS.
