True, though it's hardly a like for like comparison, but on the flip side of that, something is being done now at least. This woman has been monumentally fucked over and no one is going to help her.

This looks good but because I'm dumb I need pictures to appreciate it better. I had a quick look, are there any example pictures. Well done one implementing it in pure shell, lots of gotchas to avoid!

Just reading the headline I said to myself: bet this is in America. Every time I see something like this I can never quite believe this sort of stuff happens. Complete, life ruining incompetence, with no consequences for the idiots that cau

Have you considered going down the route of integrating this with citation managers like zotero? To me that's where the benefit lies. Sure to do a deep dive on a single paper this is good, but you rarely need this out of context of you

I'm not really qualified for useful feedback, but a while back when I was trying to decide on a truly cross platform development framework, I went with dart/flutter. The reason was, as a noob, I couldn't make any sense of the

Passkeys to me come across as a part solution to a valid problem. Education is part of the solution. Treating the user as too dumb to understand why they need strong passwords or passkeys is important. I actually despair about when my famil

I have used fossil in a similar way, also local, and sqlite based. Admittedly you have to add files to it first but setting it running via cron was simple enough. Though it wasn't be ause I let an AI access all my stuff.
