For a mere 20M-70M rows I'd stick with Postgres, index, and materialized view. After that is when I'll start migrate to duckdb or clickhouse (or citus if I don't want to move out completely from Postgres)

I don't avoid startup/business less than 5 years old neither I avoid startup where only a few lower members of failed startup moved there. I avoid doing business with startup founded by a majority team of a failed startup.
