Also, keep on mind that Git is the engine with which Continuous Integration is made. CI is developers integrating with the work of one another on a regular basis. If the product changed since you started working on your new brach, then your

Obviously what works for you works for you, but I respectfully disagree with everything you said. The "history should be exactly what you did" argument - which many people make - is really funny to me because a pull/merge-onl

Hey there. In Android, is there a requirement or any kind of dependency on Google Play Services? Also, do notifications work when the Ntfy app is in the background? Do I need to disable battery optimizations for it? Thanks!

What? If anything, this is more akin to the baker calling their employees to say "you'll be baking from home today, I'm firing a lot of people today and need to protect the bakery."

By the way, Poetry's dependency resolution isn't that great. It doesn't properly evaluate optional dependencies. For example, when I try to install pymongo on Linux, it will insist on installing pywin32 as well, even though i

Ahh, I get it, it needs index.html files. I can easily implement this, but I actually did want the server because I wanted it to be easily accessible from multiple machines, I also wanted to implement the JSON API, and also want (in an upco

No, as I mention both in this post and in the README. Pip will download binary distributions (wheels) that were compiled for the system it is running on. If my mirror is meant to serve a different version of Python installed on a different

The problem isn't really on the serving side, it's on the mirroring side. Trying to mirror PyPI - at its current 13.4 TB size[1] - and bringing all those terabytes into a restricted network with security policies and no access to

Too bad your project didn't come up in any of my searches while researching this problem. Probably because it doesn't use the word "mirror" at all :) As for your questions: 1. I don't see any mention of directory st

Yeah I get that it's one of those things where the only way to truly test it is "in the production environment," but Tesla must understand that _everybody_ is participating in those beta tests, not just the enrolled drivers.

This isn't GMail Beta though. This is beta-quality software roaming the streets posing potential, life-threatning danger to people. Why is it out there to begin with? You can't roll out unfinished features to a safety-critical ma
