I had a first hand experience flying out of Israel with the questioning side. For various accidental and benign reasons I got a little extra questioning, which was on the topics of: do I speak Hebrew?, what synagogue do I go to in the US?,

In a way its a good thing. Everyone thinks Yahoo! has a lot of potential, it is just that they aren't living up to it. Better to be on that side than not having any potential to live up to.

In your opinion, is there anything a company can do to keep or improve the average level of employees as the company grows, or is it just inevitable?

Your answer makes no sense and isn't responsive at all to the issue. We are talking about the need for confidence in banks and the banking system. This isn't something new, all banks face this issue. Addressing your irrelevant tangents: - e

There's only 30 slots on the front page at any given time, so something has to give. I'd rather miss good stories than have a part of the front page which is consistently junk. For what it's worth reddit tried the same strategy but they dep

The standard advice is to make a landing page with your idea on it. Then find ways for people to get to that page - advertising or social media. Then you can make a more fact-based decision.

Agreed - that's the next logical step if needed. Maybe some heuristic to combine simple words at first, like "andblue" instead of "octobervaporized".

More than enough as long as this doesn't get insanely popular, because the words expire after 5 minutes.

It depends on how you define science. Personally I define science as a process, whereby one has theories and then tries to systematically falsify them. By this measure CS isn't really much of a science, it is more like Math or Engineering.

I think it would be hard to be a competent lawyer without going to law school. Good law schools change the way you think, and that's not something that you can get self studying. It is true that you can pass the bar without going to school.

I agree that unions can be blamed for a lot of the issues. I'd add that a lot of the issues are caused by conflicts between the administration and the teachers. If you remove the unions then you'd have to reform the administration as well.
