No need to do anything drastic right now. Maybe lock in current rates by buying up the full ten years of domain payments if you are really worried about things. Most non-profits should be able to afford that.

You do, in fact, own the house. It is encumbered in that if you sell the house, you have to pay back the mortgage first.

More accurate to say that there are five "original" ones and then one added in later. It seems that at this point it has equal standing, in that the Nobel foundation admins it, and it is presented in the same ceremony.

Never tried them, will look into them. Thanks for the tip! A while back I figured that I like writing in the books, but rarely use them for reference. So I just get rid of them after a while. I think it is OK for things to be ephemeral.

Adding to the above: I used to be on Moleskine, but sadly their quality declined and they added a bewildering array of products that makes me question their focus on just making a quality notebook. I have tried Japanese notebooks, and the p

The AI innovation must be that they can figure out which marketers are likely to forget to have a burn pixel because those marketers drive more revenue.

There's no way to really know what's going on, the CCP is acting in secret. Maybe they are disappearing peaceful protestors, maybe they are disappearing violent thugs. Once a government starts to do that (secretly suppressing, how

Fair point, it is hard to draw an exact line. But once a government starts throwing peaceful protestors into concentration camps I think we can all agree that it has crossed the line, right?

An interesting take on the problem, but a week isn't enough time to really know. If I had a chauffeur for a week I'd use the heck out of it, just out of principle.

Agreed. It's actually a worse version of the Thiel/Weinstein framing, because the author posits the divide between "connection driven" and "applied science" innovation, which is a less useful distinction than t

The "right to free speech" is more a prohibition (via the first amendment) on Congress passing laws that abridges speech, and not a granting of rights to this or that entity.

@shishircc wish you good luck on this, but your conception as to what's stopping innovation in tech is not correct. I'd advise you to hang out with teachers, administrators, and parents to get a better feel for it. The successes w
