Isn't the 68060 backward compatible? Why wouldn't it run the same binaries compiled for other 68k CPUs?

I think what you’re saying is that they are a natural monopoly , which isn’t nefarious or illegal. But is still a monopoly.

Maybe it's my own personal bias but I feel that these stories of low, slow growth; small teams, small wins but consistency are becoming more norm. While I realize there is still plenty of froth, it's inspirin

Does it? I often ask ChatGPT such things and specifying I want free software options is enough (it often mentions which options are and aren’t free on its own).

I suspect the reason is that most late-teens/early-twenty-somethings are not responsible/emotionally mature enough to put in the required amount of work in the relatively free environment of university where nobody is checking if

Didn't more modern currencies (e.g. ETH post switch to Proof-of-Stake) solve a lot of that[0]? [0] I own no crypto and have no horse in that race, just from what i understood from online discourse.

Why not set a salary floor for H1-B candidates? That's how the equivalent works in Germany (the floor is quite low imo but if it's too low it can be set higher). If you set the floor (maybe per profession) for software engineers a

There are a lot more tourists then there used to be in the past. When I moved to Vienna in 2005 I used to take weekend trips to nearby cities (anything up to a couple hours by train, like Budapest or Brno). I would just go on a train and wh

Ive multiple times had to force programmers to use a debugger at least once (instead of only printing/logging). If they wouldn’t do it on their own whenever a bug stumped them where they needed my help I stepped into the debugger with
