It's fun to see someone else that does this! I also write code with pen and paper. Mainly for work, but I have good memories of a holiday with a notepad and The Little Schemer (with a long till receipt to cover up the answers column).

I got the impression it was just another dose of the same vaccine(s) already available rather than a new thing. I heard something about tests on vaccine combinations (i.e. different types of vaccine for your 1st & 2nd dose) a while back

I got a linux laptop from Tuxedo ( https://www.tuxedocomputers.com/en ) and I think the keyboard is the most comfortable and satisfying I've used. (And I have RSI so I'm fairly sensitive to keyboards.)

My Nokia 6500 is starting to get a bit flaky, but it's done a good 12 years or so... (It's hard to find a better phone with the same form factor.) I get very attached to my devices, not sure I could deal with a 2-3 year turnover.
