My gut says it is the wrong way around. I suspect that a user would buy the program for $40 because I want to save money and then don't buy the tutorials resulting in not being able to do that much and giving the app negative reviews becau

With the one exception being when developers are given the same horrible machine that the end users will have so it wont be a mad rush at the end to try to optimize it.

A data point to back this up: after reading high quality articles presented in a good fashion I have actually typed in and gone to http://www.theatlantic.com/ . This was a good article presented as if it was on aol.

After they remove the dvd drive the tallest port will be the ethernet port. Moving it to a external USB adaptor like they have already done on the air is logical.

"I've never actually tried to get it set up..." You could say that again. I bet you don't do any backups at all. Time machine has two options. The first is the location to backup and the second is directories to exclude. Ignoring cache

From the research I have done there are three major types of git server buyers: 1) We are so small that we don't even think twice and buy some private repos on GitHub. (i.e. no market there) 2) We are so big that we can't possibly even fath

What do people really think of this idea? Would you buy it? I have written a web interface for managing git repos called GitHaven (my personal home install is here: http://git.meyerhome.net:8080/ ). It has the usual goodies, private

The biggest problem with iTerm was the fact that if you left it running it would constantly eat up 1-2% of your cpu and never go to idle. This really hurt the battery life on any laptop.

For most of my projects I don't. Some of them have some rules listing test x depends upon y, but for the vast majority of my projects modify file X and only test X is run. This catches a huge non-insignificant amount of regressions. Real

Do you have a link to autotest? I run something similar. My ruby projects are all in git. I have a git pre-commit hook that when file X is modified before allowing a commit will run the test for X and only allow me to commit if the tests
