Do you design CPUs by any chance? You should build one in some logic simulator as its super interesting architecture. I hate hobbysts 'cpus' being inside of FPGA. We should build real hardware instead.

This is insane. why program Lisp when u can write in assembler or bootstrap FORTH interpreter? Btw. books rules in apocalypse. Just print them on some platinium paper and voila! AI can't destroy them (yet).

Lost my job as a developer some time ago. Unemployment, homelessness and depression... I got laid a few days ago from McDonalds as I'm too old (40) and too slow to compete with youngsters :( FLIPPING BURGERS IS SUPER HARD. (unless you

Now it's different. AI and I'm older. There is like 70% less offers. There are very few programmers around at age 40

I know because I just got laid off from McDonald's. It's very hard: stress, speed, precision, noise. You are competing with people 20 years younger. It's like watching professional athletes vs school soccer

It is hard I'd you didn't do any labour work for 20 years. Impossible to compete with youngsters

What's the point of this all? This is late for like 30,40 years to the game. I mean: ZILOG probably already did it all in like 1982

AVX2 should be banned anyway. Only expensive CPUs have it, ruining mininum games requirements and making hardware obsolete. Most of the world lives of 300$ per month

Migration for good technical jobs should be banned forever. Immigration = lower wages, and visa slavery. Impossible to compete. (I'm not from USA)

why this is a problem? Streaming over Http just works - even on clients from 1999 like Winamp. Why would you military grade encrypt radio service or static site anyway?

All I need is a classic bad VI. Only thing lacking is syntax colours and multiple undo. I hate when people using ViM claim that they are vi users or experts... I miss elVis also. ViM should be banned from all distros because it is literally
