I don't disagree and my experience has actually been similar as I worked with customers previously. My hope is that there might be those people already out there who are far enough along to be ready for the "build me a prototype" phase. I h

I generally think it's a fairly good deal for people. While I could've priced myself significantly higher, I wanted to make this more open to just people with ideas. Also, my hope is that the work will actually be quite fun :D

Yeah, I was the Program Manager in charge of the C# and VB IDE before I left. Basically if it's visible and you're using .NET, that was my territory in some for or fashion. : )

I was actually one of the few people who built this while I was at MSFT. Me and a few others from the VS editor team sat down over a weekend and knocked most of it out. They've since hooked the debugger into it and made it a bit cleaner, bu

I commented with a much better version of your clojure code. I'm still not convinced that this is the best way to calculate primes though. Moreover, I could imagine coming up with a better implementation that uses a lazy seq to just calcula

1) I agree. It's probably one of the best IDE's out there and C# is undoubtedly a fantastic language. 2) In what ways is C# ahead of its peers in the industry? I think Async is a great step forward, but it's been in other languages for a wh

As a recently departed (read 5 months) ex-PM at Microsoft, I think MS's problems, at least in my division, stem from three things: a lack of vision/leadership, too inward of a focus, and the ridiculous bevy of meaningless communication. I t

Telling a more compelling story is definitely a big part of it and another thing to consider is doing something simlar, but not on Facebook. If you can control the surroundings and the interaction mechanism, you can create a much better exp
