It's also interesting to note how different the iOS AppStore is from most of other stores. Some apps keep changing the price from 0.79 eur to something higher and then back again. This is easier to see with one of those apps that keep track

In their defence, that's how windows usually work on (err...) Windows 7, apps usually have the top bar and sometimes something more where transparency is allowed (there's a system setting for setting the amount of transparency, or none). I

I really don't understand why the big image on the homepage of AdGrok has a link to itself. Is there a purpose to it or just got left there somehow? :)

I've tried it a couple of times and it didn't work out, people replay with the same question: "Yeah but what do you really do?" To this seconds question I've tried to answer with "I make applications to help some companies" but they never u

Honest question: how do you get money back from an used book over there? Around here it's unusual to sell school books when they are not needed, people I know just give them like I did so I'm wondering if it's common to sell them or if ther

I can only see the price of the biology book, $149.99, which is cheaper than the paper one, $178.75 on Amazon[1]. [1] http://www.amazon.com/Biology-Peter-Raven/dp/0072921641

The problem is not the lack of attribution on the iPhone app but on the three20 library which is something different even if the iPhone app uses it.

The title is somewhat misleading since the author of the post (and also the coder of the OSS feature used) is not against Facebook using it on its iPhone app. He talks about how they use his code on their three20 library without attribution

Something I never understood about some online shops, the drop-down with only one option, usually "standard". What is "standard" doing there? What does this field mean? Example: http://alexstore.shoply.com/product/lava-lamp/

I did a small modification to the background (rotated it a little and it's form is not 100% identical although very very similar). I really wanted to understand this better. Let's say I start from scratch and the result is the same as that

Looking at Europe, there seems to be much less data about Germany and the United Kingdom than France, Spain, Italy or Portugal. You can see this by the lack of contrast on the colours on the map.

Some people claim Lisbon to be the upcoming Silicon Valley of Europe: http://seedcapital.pt/2009/11/18/lisbon-by-the-sea/ That's where I live and work, can't say it's easy to get money but I'm pretty sure I don't know the right people yet

Yap, Brave New World is much more interesting to those who want to understand what might be our future than 1984. I believe that's common sense to those who read both novels. Also interesting is Brave New World Revisited, a book written 30

I wanted to work on something similar so I'm very curious about the pricing of this app. If it's not what I expect I might consider trying to work on it with a different approach so it wouldn't be just a copy. :)

It's a good idea and I'm listed there but there's not enough people from my country using it (forgot to say I'm from a small country). But I do recommend it mainly to buyers because of the huge selection available!

I'd say one thing helping you is that you don't need to hold the camera. I won't be surprised if Apple makes this a success but calling it epic is nothing but laughable to all of us who could do it since before the year 2000...
