There seems to be a "small" difference between this and the Windows analogy: Apple got into the mass market this time and its users are showing money. If Apple can keep at least 10% of the market then it might as well have more than 50% of

I'd love you to A/B test the solo pricing between $30/month and $1/day. When I went to the plans' page I saw the $30 price tag and thought it was kind of expensive for what it does. Then I read the "Tout costs about a $1/day out of your mar

Well, you could say that for almost every other "startup". I believe there are some cool use cases here but I can't see how this will generate money.

You mean the pinned tab concept? I have no idea who started it but I used to have an extension on Firefox for that even before Chrome existed. Big Chrome fan here though.

Funny how I tried to download iOS 4.3 from iTunes for my new iPhone 4 yesterday and the computer went to sleep while downloading it, which is around 700Mb. When I noticed I woke it up and clicked on resume, bang, went from 400Mb to "zero Kb

I'd say it's the same logic but usually a bottle of water in Europe is much cheaper than any coffee from Starbucks. :)

That's very true! The trick is to enter a cafe and ask for a bottle of water while taking the chance to ask "oh, by the way, where's the restroom?"

Not really, I guess it really varies. I'm from the other side of the border, Portugal, the banks are pretty much the same as in Spain (well, they are almost all Spanish by now).

Coming from a small European country, it's one of those things that you think it's really weird about countries like United States. Here you can withdraw money without paying anything from any ATM. I never even saw a ATM asking for a fee. W

That's a very interesting article there. The thing that bothers me the most about OS X is how it looks so monochrome (and, by my definition, boring and less usable), like it's mentioned on the "Less color" section. I like to use color from

Well, plain is not necessarily boring. In most cases, including this one, I prefer the plain version. One example other than Chrome is Pepsi, the new plain logo looks so much better to me than the sort-of-3D old one. I guess it's very subje

Just a quick note: on the top of the page there is a broken link to "Pricing". I am looking forward for a service like this, any idea when this will be open to the general public?

Well, it's public how numbers vary so much. Mine's a niche music site so I don't think I should expect much more than what it's doing right now. I could easily improve the banners placement though, I just think it isn't worth it.
