When the iPhone's App Store appeared I thought a lot about this because my password was really hard to type on it. One of the ideas that got through my mind was that password could be two fields instead of one and with simpler words. Just a

It's not that easy to clone a user base though which is the leverage of most niche sites. Not saying Amazon can't do it, it is Amazon so anything is possible but it's not a general rule. For example, if I was the one doing a clone of Groupo

It's amazing how they can now sell you an iPad 2[1] when you were just looking for which iPod model to buy. This isn't just upselling! [1] "Oh, wow, I wanna take this too!"

Not really. If you are rich you may have some investments you would like to make and, in doing so, you are helping other people: you create jobs, you generate wealth for everyone, you might even make the world a better place depending on wh

"You'll never get the volume of downloads necessary to be profitable, unlike on iOS, whose market is many times larger than the Mac." We all know this stuff but it still amazes me, not so many years ago it would be nonsense...

Asking friends about git GUIs I found out a strong correlation between not using a GUI for git and not using proper commits[1]. I feel sad when I hear the words "Oh, I just commit everything!" [1] By proper commit I mean one where you have

As I was one of the suspicious comments, to me it sounds like they are going to ruin something which I believe is very very good. Can't say anything about Sense or TouchWiz though, never tried any of them.

This should be clarified as I would like to invest on the WP7 platform due to Nokia being pushing it on their upcoming mobile phones. I was expecting them to have some success if they didn't change anything at all on WP7 but this makes me t
