This is great. It's the first time I've seen it promoted without a 20% pay cut at the same time.

To be fair it's just as bad on Monday to Friday as well at least in the three local councils I've had to try and contact.

Embedded safari is subject to the same controls. I’ve tested it. Also you can open specific links in a browser instead of an app easily. Just hold finger on the link.

Simply because it abstracts away all of the problems I don’t want to care about and enables all the solutions I do care about at the same time. And most importantly it just works.

Not scared of those extensions. The malicious web sites that force you to install malicious extensions are the problem. The average user isn’t immune to those problems. I’ve cleaned out enough extension infested chrome browsers in my time…

This is selection bias. Clearly you’ve never met an average computer user then. Malicious web pages force extensions on you which users do install.

One reason I choose Apple is because of this. I know there is one possible egress browser on the platform which goes through the same control channels as anything else whether it’s embedded in an app or standalone. The moment it’s open the

Was Coldfire + IAR. The design was driven entirely by idiocy and showboating. I was hired just to limp it along a bit further while they spun a new board and software as the MCU was obsolete anyway.

Of all the things I've seen in my time writing software I can qualify that some of the most fucked up things involved state machines. The worst of which was a 200 state hand written one in C for an embedded measurement system. There wa

Yeah I worked for years in an office where the toilets barely worked and no one knew how to shit properly. It’s not fun. Also everyone smoked so you couldn’t touch anything because it stank.

I think you’d need a lawyer to answer that question. Which in itself is a problem. The nature of using this tool could hang you in theory more than if you didn’t use it.

Certainly not saying it's not successful for its time. But this is about the future and the whole dedicated device model and expensive games are rapidly becoming a dead end. The tablet and phone gaming market has a lot of overlap now a
