Yeah to re-make public spaces across the cities and towns in that image would require probably a 10s to 100s of trillions in infrastructure spending. Enough to make my personal dream of an aqueduct in to the southwest from the Pacific and a

There’s stuff people can do. Eat less/no meat. Buy an EV. Etc. But then commentators will refute that with all sorts of stuff “one person can’t make any sizable impact,” “EVs are powered from the grid which isn’t carbon neutral”, “EV

What’s going to have the faster latency? Memory chiplets on the same substrate as the cpu cores or memory dimms sitting in a housing a few inches away? I’m sure there’s more than a few factors making latency faster for those chiplets. http

Spends a lot fewer cpu cycles waiting for data. Same is true with how much faster the main storage moves. Won’t be enough for all workflows (hence it’s worth the OPs question) but will go further than expected. Edit-latest i9s seem to get a

Whoa. I got a little over 1k for a 32g/1Tb build with bluray burner. I’d be fine picking this up if I really were in the market. It’s maybe a premium on what I could pick up at Costco, but honestly not that huge of a markup. Unfortunat

It’s such a strawman point. But this comparison is totally bonkers. If you’re doing a workload meant for a 4080/4090 then you really have no business pointing at the M2 Ultra as a competitor. Then there’s comparing like technology to l

Definitely another space where the anti/propaganda has won the early game. Is there somewhere to learn about the proper storage and use of hydrogen? I’d just add that for grid scale storage the hydrogen probably doesn’t have to go far

Sure but now could be a pivot point. These third party developers that are closing their apps could band together around a vanilla knock off if one could roll out a knock off like yet another Django app. Thinking of forum apps like https:&

My state proposed a grid battery solution that would have provided power for the entire state for up to 1-2 days IIRC. They didn’t approve it, but the budget wasn’t astronomical. I honestly wonder if the worry about off hours use is a littl

Absolutely going to need much better battery tech for long haul trucking, rural living, and seasons. Having said that, the current gen Rav4 Prime PHEV is especially a 90/10 split between fuel types. It can net pretty dramatic emissions

Interesting about caffeine helping. It works as a vasoconstrictor - constricting the blood vessels. It can be helpful with migraines, too, but too much can also trigger a migraine. Lots of things are like that with migraines. From that, I&#
