I made the decision to not have a career after leaving college and travelled around the world for a few years, working brief stints in tech and non-tech jobs here and there to make ends meet and fund further travels. When I actually started

Not a software tool but I was recently introduced to the design-sprint[1] methodology from google and found it helped a lot with the requirements gathering and speccing phases. It was also light and easily implementable - they have some res

The last line: Work less hours :) You wont remember the project, hell you'll probably forget the job. But the little snippets of things that happen in between working hours will stick with you. They are in effect your life. Of course,

Cant imagine why not. People moved on from Foursquare, Koprol, Path & BBM. And Instagram and whats-app themselves are basically eating the original facebooks time-in-app for breakfast. Social networks just don't seem to be as stick

It's correct though. 90% of code is just reinventing the wheel, over and over again. And not just specialised modules like payments. Its insane that even small companies have "data experts", "UI/UX designers".

Indeed. As far as I can remember its been a source of pride to have managed to keep an older version and avoided updates. This last one on OSx has been particularly bad though. Its just so slow at doing even basic tasks like chatting.

My two cents. I understand the pitch is towards sharing more than just presentations, but wouldn't 90% of people just be sharing presentations? People usually just add the links to the last slide. That said - It still seems like a usef

A long time ago I heard of a demo of a telco project in a mall's cinema. They sent a location based SMS to everyone in the mall giving away half price tickets to an otherwise empty screening starting in 15mins. And apparently it filled
