I've been looking at Prolly Trees in-depth and they're pretty neat! They have nice properties like: - self-balancing (probabilistically!) - unicit (the same data in the tree results in the same tree) - fast comparisons (they'

Figure 5 kinda reminds me of...Datalog? Where you have rules and a data set. Given the rules, you iteratively compute on the data set until there are no more rules that match the given data--the fixed point. Is that right?

This is the stance that https://acko.net/blog/i-is-for-intent/ takes--that there needs to be some way of representing a temporarily illegal state.

Were you inspired by Git? How did you come up with MD-CRDTs?

I think you're correct. Thanks for the correction. I've updated the post. The difference is subtle, and for those interested, the difference is detailed here: https://haslab.wordpress.com/2011/07/08/

I thought it was really neat when I came across it. There was a detail that I didn't find in the paper (or might have missed). What if the key you're adding has a lot more (or a lot less) leading zeros in its hash than the number

Oh, sure. I didn't think it'd be of interest. It's largely just knowing the names of visual components and art styles, but the generative AI takes it pretty far by itself if you're not too picky about what it gives you.

Thanks for pointing out the discrepancy! Some people don't like generative images, but they're pretty fun to generate.
