The state management library front-ends are looking for is a database (2023)
- proc0 3y agoMaybe I missed it but is the database being proposed on the client or on the server? Would the client have it's own local database, because if it's another network call, then the client would still have to deal with non-content state management like UI transitions and such, and that basically goes full circle with the early days of JS. I think a client-side database like sqlite is not a bad idea though. It would store the session and would speed up page loads when the cache is available. I wonder if there are any frameworks implementing this pattern.
