This is what I would like to know more about. Other day I picked up a 32oz smoothie, which said this is equivalent to 40 strawberries, 1 banana and 6 apples. How is that possible in only $5? Do they get fruits so cheap to make up for other

One annoying thing about Techmeme is the linked tweets, they are just snarky comments from famed critics on twitter. Majority of the time, they do not add any value but a tongue in cheek remark. I would like them to be more selective in lin

This is pure desperation and raking nationalistic fire by the CEO of newkia. The name sounds like a generic Chinese knockoff of Nokia, and they started the company in hopes of Nokia guys jumping ship to them. In reality, it looks like they

Quoting TOmi Ahonen's blog here should be blasphemy , to be frank. He presents a very contorted narrative, with unjustified venom. As for as his summarizing things with hard data, take a look here: https://news.ycombinator.c

Tomi Ahonen is as anti-Nokia and MS as it gets, and hence I do not enjoy his blog. As his narrative stretches the truth a lot, and prime example is his Nokia analysis. Nokia was already in decline with Symbian, but go on his blog and he pre

Exactly. This acquisition gels well with the "devices and services" narrative. It helps that Microsoft has good hardware division, and combined with Nokia I hope they find traction in Mobile market. This is a good acquisition for

And make it available in as many countries outside NA. I would also like: - LTE, - GPS, - a good Lumia 1020-esqe camera, - Thunderbolt port. Basically, a state-of-the-art machine (Not that above technology makes it really state-of-the-art).

I like your idea, and I think it should be a bit of column A and column B. Kickstart the platform from both ends, users and developers and then let the momentum ride itself from then on.

You are talking about Surface RT. Side loading will allow the present troves of ransomware and nasty toolbars to run amok on the Start Screen. And just allowing sideloading will not generate considerable interest among masses, to be frank.
